Sysmex to Introduce Automated Hematology Analyzer XS Series in February.

Tokyo, Japan, Jan 25, 2006 - (JCN) - Sysmex announced on January 24 that it will launch the XS series of hematology analyzers designed for small and medium-scale hospitals, on February 1. (photo)

The new series XS, which employs the same measurement principle as the XE-2100, the company's current hematology analyzer for large-scale hospitals, can analyze blood with a sample of only 20 microliters.

The A3-size analyzer also provides access to the company's information service Sysmex Network Communication Systems (SNCS).

Sysmex expects that the new analyzer will help small and medium-scale hospitals standardize and streamline their inspection processes.

The company plans to market the XS series overseas as well.
