Syrian Ambassador: To extend voting period.

NNA - The Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdel Karim, told on Wednesday morning NNA reporter in an exclusive interview that the voting deadline of the Syrian expatriates in Lebanon would be extended a few more hours or even one day due to meet the high voter turnout at the embassy and allow all Syrians to exercise their right in voting.

"I expected to have a high voter turnout as Syrians have a sovereignty feeling and refuse the conspiracies which were plotted against them," he stressed.

Abdel Karim stressed that the Syrian Embassy will count the ballots and send a report to the Higher Elections Committee assigned to announce the results.
