Syria girls just foolish; Letters.

I REMEMBER well when, against our advice, my granddaughter came home with her nose pierced. We laugh about it now, but at the time her rebellious act did cause us some concern.

Just another one of those teenage growing up moments when they think they know best. Much like the three young girls from East London who have allegedly gone to Syria to ght. Sadly the media and even British government have set out to demonise these girls.

Remember they are little more than children and much like many children, including my granddaughter, make rebellious and at times foolish decisions. e follies of youth as they say, but we as adults should not scorn. With help and support and better understanding, especially from schools, the police and other relevant bodies, their actions can be addressed.
