Sylvester Stallone Slam Bruce Willis as ' Greedy Lazy Failure' in Twitter Rant.
The 67-year-old Rambo star laid into Willis moments after announcing the Die Hard favourite was being replaced by Harrison Ford in the third film in his Expendables franchise.
"WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!" Stallone told his 907,000 followers.
Stallone, who created the franchise, made it clear that Willis' departure was not on amicable terms and that he would not be missed.
He later added: "GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE,"
Stallone's representatives have since confirmed that the tweet was made in reference to Willis, 58, did not any comment further.
Willis, who appeared in the first two "Expendables" films, opposite Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, has yet to respond to Stallone's scornful comments.
Meanwhile Indian Jones star Harrison Ford, is set to join the cast of action men of yesteryears after signing up to appear in The Expendables.
Filming for the third instalment of the hugely successful franchise is set to begin this month for a 2014 release.
Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes and Milla Jovovich are expected to join the cast while Lethal Weapon star Mel Gibson has also been tipped for a role.
