Swinger walks free after attack.

A SWINGER who hit his boss on the head with a glass ashtray at an office Christmas party avoided jail yesterday.

Cairns Galbraith, 34, was found guilty at Hamilton Sheriff Court of hitting Alan Gibbons, 41, with the ashtray in a row over his sex life.

Yesterday, he was sentenced to two years' probation and ordered to carry out 200 hours' community service.

The car salesman, of Moodiesburn, near Glasgow, had told the court he became the butt of jokes at Minorplanet Systems in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, after he revealed he and his wife Wendy, 34, were 'swingers'.

Following the guilty verdict, Galbraith said they had given up wife-swapping after their lifestyle was revealed in court
