Swing Into Burger King(R) Restaurants To Test Your Spidey Sense; Win Prizes, Cash And Great-Tasting Food.

MIAMI, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- What's that tingle? Is Doc Ock attacking or is Mary Jane in trouble? It's your spidey sense saying you have a chance to win exciting prizes in the Spidey Sense Game at BURGER KING(R) restaurants this summer in connection with the action-packed blockbuster Spider-Man 2, opening June 30, 2004 from Sony Pictures. From June 28, 2004 to August 8, 2004, Guests can use their "Spidey Sense" to select and scratch off one of two rub-off spots on a game piece for a chance to win prizes including Sony electronics, a million dollars in cash, tasty BURGER KING(R) food items and a three-car prize package of SATURN(R) cars. Burger King Corporation has also partnered with the Dr Pepper Company for a game cross-promotion that gives restaurant guests the chance to win Dr Pepper 2-liter bottles. Consumers purchasing Dr Pepper products at retail locations could win BURGER KING(R) food products with in-package prizes.

Put Your Spidey Sense to the Test

Each game piece -- available on medium-, large- or king-sized fries and large- (32 oz.) or king-sized soft drinks -- feature a peel-off image of Spider-Man's mask, and underneath it are two rub-off spots in the shape of webs. Guests must use their "Spidey Sense" to select and scratch off one rub- off spot to see if they are an instant winner. Every game piece has a prize; you choose the winning web. The game card is void if both spots are rubbed off.

Each size of value meal includes increasingly more chances to win. The medium, large and king size value meals respectively offer one, two or three chances to become an instant winner. The Spidey Sense Game is part of Burger King Corporation's all-family promotion celebrating the web-slinging fun of Spider-Man 2. Kids can enjoy a collection of "Spider-Active" toys -- also announced today. The toys will be featured in kids advertising developed with Campbell Mithun. The toys, which range from a Spidey glider to a web ball to a water squirter and beyond are the first kids meal premiums ever produced by Burger King Corporation that are designed to encourage outdoor fun and activity. About Spider-Man 2

In Columbia Pictures' Spider-Man(R) 2, two years have passed since Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) walked away from his longtime love Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and decided to take the road to responsibility as Spider-Man.
