Swimming: Triathletes put in an excellent performance; BILLINGHAM SWIM CLUB.
Weather conditions were excellent for running, bringing out the best performances from the runners.
Eight-year-old Hannah Feather-stone, competing in her first Triathlon Championships, showed great determination when she produced "best shoot and run" to take first place in the bi with 1576 points and the tri with 1880 points.
Lauren Richardson, following on from her previous successes, won her fourth consecutive triathlon.
With a brilliant competition Lauren, with a total of 2820 points, won the tri with best shoot, and with 1916 points finished third in the bi.
Gareth Allen performed well with a really good shoot backed up with solid performances in the swim and run. Gareth, with 2580 points, finished first in the tri and with 2136 points finished second in the bi.
Brothers Mitchell and Robert Young both won the tri and bi in their respective age groups when they cleaned the board by producing best shoot, run and swim.
Robert with 1944 points in the tri and 2024 in the bi and Mitchell with 2324 in the tri and 1636 in the bi.
On his return to competition Greg Dixon started his comeback with solid performances with a PB in his swim. He won best shoot and swim.
Greg won both the tri and bi with a total of 1772 points in the tri and 1756 in the bi.
Guy Fawkes had a superb competition with a clean sweep, winning best shoot, run and swim, winning the tri with 3021 points and 2153 in the bi.
