Swig to be honored at Police Hero Awards.

Kent M. Swig, president of Swig Equities and co-chairman of Terra Holdings, will be honored at the Police Hero Awards, an evening in tribute to New York's finest, on Nov. 1, 2007 at the New York Marriott Marquis. The event will support the children's educational programs at The New York City Police Museum, located in Manhattan's FiDi (Financial District) neighborhood.


Swig serves as president of Swig Equities, LLC, a major real estate development, investment and management company, with a track record in the development of more than $3 billion of residential, commercial and hotel properties throughout the United States. Swig Equities is currently developing Sheffield57 and 25 Broad Street, two luxury condominium real estate developments, and is a major owner of commercial properties in FiDi (Financial District). In addition, he is an owner and co-chairman of Terra Holdings, LLC, a real estate operating company that owns Brown Harris Stevens and Halstead Property. Terra Holdings' companies sell more than $6 billion of apartments and townhouses annually as well as manage more than 300 residential buildings comprising over 20,000 units.

Last year marked the inauguration of the Police Hero Awards. In establishing this award, The New York City Police Museum seeks to recognize outstanding members of the New York City Police Department for exhibiting extraordinary courage, leadership and dedication beyond the call of duty to the people of New York City.

Property Management, Swig Equities, LLC; and the evening's Emcee will be Ernie Anastos, News Anchor at Fox 5 News.
