Swift Energy retains OGJE to evaluate/market Texas assets.

The OIL & GAS JOURNAL PROPERTY EXCHANGE (OGJE) has announced that Swift Energy Company and Swift Managed Assets (Swift) have retained its services to evaluate and market certain assets in Texas, including interests in the following fields: Allison Parks in North Texas; Big A, Giddings, Grapeland, and Ulrich in East Texas; and Cameron Ranch, Estes Cove, Fant, Frost, Green Branch, Limes, Mestena Grande, and Salado Creek in South Texas.

Swift's assets in these fields include interests in approximately 100 producing wells. In addition to proved producing reserves, significant proved developed non-producing and proved undeveloped reserves are included in the package. Swift is offering to sell these assets effective April 1, 2002.
