Swedish industrial supplier B&B Tools AB (formerly Bergman & Beving) said on Friday (1 June) that it has agreed to acquire three industrial resellers in Finland.
The companies, Turun Kumikeskus Oy (Mertek), Tuontipalvelu Tapani Jelkanen Oy (TTJ) and Ruuvijoki Oy (RJ), are local suppliers of industrial tools and components, machinery and other industrial consumables.
Mertek is active in the Turku region, and has 27 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK90m per year.
TTJ and RJ are sister companies operating in the Joensuu region, where they have a total of 14 employees and a combined turnover of approximately SEK60m.
The financial details of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
B&B Tools, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, supplies tools, industrial consumables and industrial components, and related services to the industrial and construction sectors in northern Europe. The group has some 2,700 employees and annual revenues of approximately SEK7.6bn.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.40 Swedish kronor (SEK).
