Swat to regain status of tourism hub again.
PESHAWAR -- Authorities in Swat will have to play their role to make the district a tourism hub once again.
'Police high ups have been directed to facilitate tourists to access all the scenic places of Swat Valley. We are all responsible to make Malakand division a cradle of peace,' DIG Malakand Region Mohammad Saeed Khan Wazir said.
He was talking to journalists at his office in Saidu Sharif. He said that Swat's natural beauty is great example for the world to come here and enjoy scenic hill stations. 'We should all contribute to make Swat a paradise on earth and create attraction for tourists as well', he said.
DIG said journalists should also work for attracting foreign tourists to Swat and Malakand division at large through pen and media.
