A SUSPECTED brothel has been raided in Warwick.

Police and UK Border Agency teams went to the property in Cape Road, near St Michaels Hospital, on Monday night.

A woman in her 30s and a man in his 50s were arrested on suspicion of managing a brothel after evidence was seized at the property.

They are also being held on suspicion of immigration offences.

PC Trent McMurray, of Warwick Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "This was good proactive work in partnership with UK Border Agency to identify and deal robustly with illegal immigrants and sex workers in the community."
