A survey has indicated that almost half of doctors surveyed in the US are planning to quit medicine because of hassle involved with health insurance.

The study said that nearly nine in ten doctors believe problems with insurance plans have worsened the condition for patients. The study was conducted by Aimed Alliance, a non-profit agency that seeks to protect consumer rights.

The study polled 600 physicians in the US.
