Adhesion Resistant Surgical Mesh

Sepramesh[TM] Biosurgical Composite is comprised of polypropylene mesh coated with adhesion preventing materials, modified sodium hyaluronate (HA) and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). The coated side of Sepramesh remains in place for up to seven days, separating the mesh from abdominal viscera while an adhesion-resistant mesothelial cell layer develops over the peritoneal side of the prosthesis. The composite design encourages complete tissue ingrowth of the polypropylene mesh with the abdominal wall.
