Surgery mortgage.

The owner of a Little Rock surgery center landed a $1.57 million funding agreement

Arkansas Surgery & Endoscopy Center LLC, led by Syed Samad, secured a five-year loan of $1.07 million and a two-year loan of $500,000 from Bank of America in Charlotte, N.C.

The 0.4-acre development at 9 Freeway Drive previously was linked with a pair of August 2005 loans totaling $1.16 million from the bank.

The limited liability company acquired the former home of Rainbow Babies & Children's Pediatric Clinic and the Pain Control Center for $950,000 more than two years ago from National Loan Investors Ltd. of Oklahoma City, led by Paul Heafy.
