SurfControl releases new version of SuperScout software.
The Internet filtering systems provider SurfControl Plc has unveiled a new version of SuperScout, its Internet monitoring and policy management system for companies.
The latest version seamlessly integrates category UFP caching with Check Point Software's VPN-1/FireWall-1 system to make it easier for network managers to define, manage and enforce their company's security and Internet acceptable use policies.
A range of new stand-alone features have also been bundled with this version of SuperScout, including a real-time category monitor for fast analysis and trouble shooting of network congestion, the creation of over 60 standard reports and automated scheduling of database maintenance and report delivery.
The new SurfControl version is available immediately. Pricing was not revealed.
