SurfControl Plc has made available its Content Filtering Engine software developer kit (SDK), designed to enable the integration of the company's Internet site and content filtering technology into third party applications such as search engines, ISP services, firewalls and proxy servers.
The SDK includes a range of site and content filters as well as productivity filters which can restrict access to non-work related sites in business applications. The engine can also be used to provide both individual filtering, where parameters can be set and managed for individual users, and central filtering for managing groups of individuals.
Pricing was not disclosed.
