Sure Trace Adds Two New Members to the Board.

DENVER -- Sure Trace Security Corporation (OTCBB:SSTY) announced today the appointment of Tien-May Lau and Juan F. Mabanta to the Company's Board of Directors.

Jim MacKay, Chairman and interim CEO of Sure Trace, commented on the new additions to the Board: "Both Ms. Lau and Mr. Mabanta have been instrumental in opening doors for us in Asia with governments, multi-national companies and sources of financing. Both new members have considerable experience at a high level of international business and have broad contact bases. I believe they will draw to us significant opportunities which will assist in Sure Trace realizing its full potential."


Tien-May Lau has over 20 years of experience in business development and public relations and the media. She was:

--Founder of Beneficial International Group Co. Ltd, a company specializing in consultation in mergers and acquisitions in the fields of IT and real estate. At present, Beneficial is the Project Director for China Overseas Real Estate Development Corporation, the only subsidiary involved in overseas investments for China Real Estate Development Corporation, which is the only real estate company that is 100% owned by the State Council of China.

--Vice President of Culturecom Holdings Limited for more than 5 years. She helped the company to change successfully from a traditional publishing house into a well-known information technology company in China by effecting various mergers and acquisitions.

--Chief Editor and Publisher of a number of popular consumer magazines as well as General Manager for a financial newspaper, the Financial Daily, and was head of sales and marketing for Ming Pao Evening News in the early 80's.

--One of the founders of Telesports Company Ltd. which later became the production arm of Asia Television, the second largest television station in HK. She covered the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, and was organizer of various international events including the 1989 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.

--One of the pioneers in the licensing and merchandising industry in Hong Kong and South East Asia. She founded Plaything Merchandising Company Ltd. in the mid 80's and exclusively represented major US companies like Sesame Street, Hasbro (Transformer and G. I. Joe), Mirage Studio (Ninja Turtles), Universal Studio (Jurassic Park etc.) and many Japanese animation companies (Toei, Toho, Sony Creative etc.) to develop their licensing business programs in the Far East region.

Ms. Lau now hosts a weekly radio program: "Best of the Best" in Metro Radio, HK, interviewing 'rich and famous' entrepreneurs in HK.

Juan F. Mabanta has over thirty years experience in management in multiple industries. His broad experience includes the fields of hospital administration, industrial sales, medical products, electronic waste-recycling, IT and solar energy. Positions he has held include: Deputy Administrator, Marian Clinics Inc; Marketing Director, Canex Trading, Inc. (Canada); Medical Supply Distribution, Dispo Philippines Inc.; Executive Vice-President, Interex, Inc. (Distributor of Enerpac); General Agent, Gesellshaft For Logistesen Services; Director, Chicara Ltd. (Canada); Director, Tokyo Trading, Inc.; President, Canadian Coursewares, Inc.; Director, Wing Lee Shipping Inc. (Philippines); Representative, China Classification Society (Philippines); President, Electronics Recycling Canada, Ltd.; Marketing Director, Solflex Inc. (Solar Production).
