Superstar Jacko takes Ireland by storm.

Pop superstar Michael Jackson swept into Dublin the delight of 35,000 fans.

The sun shone on his army of admirers who came from all over Ireland to see the singer in his spectacular stage show at the RDS.

Jacko thrilled the audience with classics such as Thriller, Billie Jean and Beat It.

The 38-year-old American, whose glittering career spans 27 years, also performed from his latest album, Blood On The Dancefloor.

Promoters were delighted with the way the show went. Said one: "Michael Jackson shows always excite and tingle the punters."

But his stay in Dublin was a short one. Just minutes after the show had ended, Jacko was being driven to Dublin Airport to fly to Paris to be re-united with his wife Debbie and son Prince.

They are staying in the French capital while Jacko completes the gruelling European leg of his world tour.
