STAFF at a Coventry supermarket had a grand time getting stuck into Red Nose Day.

Street store raised PS1,000 for Comic Relief from various fundraising activities.

Workers at the Trinity Street store raised PS1,000 for Comic Relief from various fundraising activities. e store held a baking competition for colleagues - store manager Abdoulie Secka completed a taste test to choose a winner - as well as a cake sale.

A colouring competition was organised for children to design their own Red Nose, while colleagues at the store dressed in red or in ocial Red Nose t-shirts and completed bag pack-pack ing and collections in store.

Sainsbury's is the ocial Red Nose Day merchandise supplier throughout and the country Lisa Grimsley, PR ambasthe country Lisa Grimsley, PR ambassador for the store, said: "e fundraising has been a great success - colleagues have really been promoting Red Nose Day as it's such a worthwhile cause and we would all like to say a massive thank you to all our staC/ and customers who have supported us with Red Nose Day 2015."
