Supermarket opening times for the August bank holiday 2018 including Asda, Morrisons and Tesco; Don't get caught out this bank holiday weekend.

The Augustbank holidayhas arrived, and it's set to be a fresher one than the last as the warm weather turns to wind and rain.

So a barbecue probably won't be on the agenda, but there are other ways to make the most of the long weekend.

But first thing's first, you'll have to make sure you're stocked up with everything you need.

Here are the supermarket opening times for the August bank holiday weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, Morrisons stores will be open at the usual times.

On bank holiday Monday, some Morrisons stores will operate reduced hours of 8am and 7pm.

However, it can change from store to store -- for instance, the Aberystwyth store will open between 8am and 10pm. So it's always best to use theMorrisons store finderbefore you head to the shops.

You should expect Tesco to be open at the usual times on Saturday and Sunday.

On bank holiday Monday, you should expect Tesco superstores to be open between 9am - 6pm , with some exceptions.

The smaller Tesco Metro and Express stores stores tend to operate their usual opening times (usually 7am-11pm), even on bank holidays, so that's your best bet if you're stuck.

You should expect Sainsbury's to be open at the usual times on Saturday and Sunday.

On bank holiday Monday, you should expect Sainsbury's to be open between 9am to 7pm , with some exceptions.

On Saturday and Sunday, Lidl will operate its usual opening hours. On Monday, you should expect stores to open between 8am and 8pm. However, store opening times may vary so it's always best to visitLidl's store finderbefore you visit.

On Saturday and Sunday, expect Aldi to open at the usual times. Then on bank holiday Monday, Aldi stores are expected to open between 8am and 8pm.

Things to do this August Bank Holiday weekend in Wales
