Super SCoors II offers $1 million

Coors Brewing Co. announced the kickoff of Super SCoors II, the second year of an eastern region promotion that involves television viewers in the football game on "Super Sunday," January 26.

As in 1991, Super SCoors II will be supported by a television and radio campaign as well as promotional materials at off-premise locations. In addition, promotional messages will be sky-typed over the stadiums of New York Giants and Jets, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles games during December and January.

The game, played after each score change during the Super Bowl, offers the first 500 consumers with matching game pieces to call a toll-free number and win a Coors football. Additionally, the 25th caller who matches the final score of the game will win the grand prize 1992 Jeep Cherokee and a chance to win $1 million.

"We've made Super SCoors twice as easy to play this year by doubling the number of winners at each score change," noted Rennie Solomito, eastern region marketing manager, Coors Brewing Co. "We've also increased the number of game pieces by 20 percent, to over six million because of overwhelming success last year when an estimated 100,000 callers reached the Super SCoors telephone number."
