Finnish industrial food company Lannen Tehtaat Oyj said on Thursday (13 April) that its business unit Suomen Rehu Ltd had acquired the 17.5% stake in Mildola Oy that was held by Maatalouskesko Oy.

Through this transaction Mildola Oy becomes wholly owned by Suomen Rehu Ltd. The purchase price was not revealed.

Mildola is a Finnish rapeseed crushing company that markets vegetable oils within the European Union and protein feeds on the Finnish market. The company employs 36 people and in 2005 it had a net turnover of EUR40.8m.

One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
