Sunshine on a chilly day.

THE HAZY winter sunshine silhouettes a solitary walker as he approaches Chesterton Windmill, just outside Leamington.

It was far cry from the scene just hours earlier when a delicate blanket of snow had covered the fields as people shivered into work and school on a chilly Thursday morning.

Cold and dry weather is forecast for tonight, with the chance of freezing fog and patchy frost. The dramatic winter scene was captured by Evening Telegraph photographer Mark Radford yesterday, looking south across the Warwickshire countryside from the site of the famous landmark.
