Sunday Mercury Comment: Goodbye and good riddance.

TODAY we say goodbye and good riddance to controversial broadcaster Tim Shaw.

He is the BRMB presenter who caused a furore with a 'live' suicide rescue that turned out to have been pre-recorded .

As we revealed earlier this year, the police were less than amused by his bid to catch the public ear with a shoddy, bad taste stunt.

Perhaps he will have more luck in Manchester where he is now to ply his trade. But many Brummies found him a complete turn-off.
