Sunday Mail OPINION: Party's over for Prezza.

TWO men sum up the problem engulfing the Labour Party at the moment - John Prescott and Gordon Jackson.

Prescott used to represent all that was good about the Labour Party.

He was a working man, a union man - someone who would fight the corner of the ordinary worker and his family. But people now see him as a freeloading womaniser with no real job in government.

Gordon Jackson's sin is to neglect the job he was elected to do by the people of Glasgow's Govan - fight against poverty, improve their housing and create jobs in the area.

He spends more time in the High Court than in Parliament. Jackson seems to have finally got the message and dropped his legal baggage.

But their behaviour proves Labour has lost focus. They must get back on track and start serving the people who put them in power.
