About the Author:

Rich Grimes is an author, university professor, speaker, poet, proud father of two grown daughters and grandfather of three adorable children. A retired high school principal, he remains active in education teaching, conducting professional staff development workshops, writing articles for professional journals, and mentoring aspiring teachers.

Rich continues his professional commitment to teaching and learning and has successfully modeled effective teaching strategies for the past 15 years as an Adjunct Professor of Education at Azusa Pacific University, California State University, Pomona, and Chapman University. He currently serves as an education adjunct and university supervisor for Brandman University (affiliated with Chapman University) in Santa Maria, California. His book, Classroom Under Construction, published in 2006, is a valuable resource for teachers targeting instructional and student management strategies.
