Sultanate to Take Part in Gulfood Exhibition 2014 in Dubai.

Muscat, Feb 22 (ONA) ---- The Sultanate, represented by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), will take part for the second consecutive year in the Gulfood Exhibition 2014 due to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) tomorrow (Sunday). Through participating in this four-day event, PEIE seeks to achieve objectives of the national campaign promoting for the Omani products (Omani) through familiarizing with the Omani products abroad, as well as finding new outlets and consumers for such products at the regional and international levels. PEIE will take part with a pavilion as a number of Omani companies and factories operating in the food industry will display their products before the visitors, besides viewing the international products and the modern technologies used in their industry. PEIE officials will also familiarize businessmen and representatives of the companies and factories in the exhibition with the investment opportunities in the PEIE industrial estates in particular and the Sultanate in general, as well as inviting them to localize their new projects to contribute in supporting the Omani economy. It is worth mentioning that the exhibition is considered the world's biggest annual foodservice, hospitality and retail event that hosts 120 pavilions including 9 new pavilions representing countries around the world. The exhibition will also witness the participation of more than 4,500 exhibitors representing global companies and commercial brands in various food and beverage areas including 300 exhibitors taking part for the first time in the event of which area is more than 1 million square meter.----Ends/KH/FS
