The delegation of the Sultanate to the meeting will be chaired by Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Commerce and Industry Minister.
During the meeting, the AGCC trade ministers will discuss a number of issues and recommendations raised to them including the standard commercial draft laws, such as, the anti commercial fraud law, and consumer protection law. They will also discuss the recommendations of the WTO related to the AGCC countries, as well as, the secretariat general's report on the latest development on the negotiations among the AGCC countries and the international economic groups and countries.
The Commerce and Industry Minister will also chair the Sultanate's delegation taking part at the 33rd meeting of the AGCC Industrial cooperation, scheduled to be held in Riyadh after tomorrow (Wednesday).
The AGCC industry ministers will discuss a number of recommendations related to the manufacturing sector including the standard draft document on the development and encouragement of the joint industrial projects at the AGCC countries. They will also discuss a number of issues related to developing the exports at the AGCC countries and review the report of the operational program for the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consultancy for 2010 in addition to a number of other industrial topics and developments in this regard.
The Commerce and Industry Minister will also chair the Sultanate's delegation taking part at the 13th meeting for the AGCC Standardization Authority Board of Directors scheduled to kick-off in Riyadh after tomorrow (Wednesday).
The meeting will discuss a number of topics raised by the Authority in charge of the standards and specifications.
