Sultanate, Kazakhstan Conduct Political Talks Session.

Muscat, Sept 29 (ONA) --- The first session of political talks was held between the Sultanate and the friendly Republic of Kazakhstan at the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry today.

The Sultanate's side was chaired by Dr. Mohammed bin Awadh al-Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs whilst it was headed from the Kazakhstani side by Akylbek Kamaldinov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.

The talks reviewed aspects of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them on various fields, as well as exchanging viewpoints on several regional and international issues of common concern.

The session was attended by Hafidh bin Salim Ba Omar, Head of International Cooperation Department, Yerzhan Mukash, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate and officials from both sides.
