203 pages

Cardiologist Banypersad (The Heart Hospital, London) and cardiac physiologist Pearce (Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester) present a study guide to the examination for accreditation in the imaging technology that is most widely used in cardiology. It is based on the current syllabus of the British Society for Echocardiography Transthoracic accreditation process, which includes written multiple-choice questions and a video section in which questions are asked about images. The topics include the aortic valve, right ventricular assessment, pericardial disease and cardiac masses, and adult congenital heart disease.
