The Norwegian offshore contractor Siem Offshore Inc said on Friday (10 December) that Subsea 7, its joint venture with Halliburton Subsea, had secured a USD45m contract from Total E&P Nederland BV in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

The contract covers the tie-in of the subsea L4G wellhead to the existing L4A platform and the connection of the K6GT satellite.

Siem Offshore is in the process of acquiring Halliburton Subsea's 50% holding in Subsea 7.

One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.55 British pounds (GBP).
