Submissions for Richard & Judy Book Club 2005 now being accepted.
The producers of the UK-based Channel 4's Richard & Judy show have announced that they are now taking submissions for the 2005 Richard & Judy Book Club which culminates in one book being awarded the Richard & Judy Best Read of the Year award at the British Book Awards.
The first Richard & Judy Book Club was a massive success for publishers, with strong sales of the chosen books after they were featured. Publishers have until 1 November 2004 to submit six books in hardback or paperback which were published during 2004. No children's books are allowed but non-fiction and fiction are both featured.
A spokesperson for the show's producers Cactus TV said that they were very excited about the new book club and that the show had a commitment on the feature from Channel 4 until 2007, reports Publishing News.
