Stun gun boy zapped fellow pupils at school.
The boy, a pupil at Trinity Catholic School in LeamingtonSpa,was arrested for being in possession of a prohibited weapon after police were called to the school last Tuesday.
Police described the weapon as being less powerful than a Taser gun, which delivers strong electric shocks.
Pupils at the school reportedly claimed that the boy chased his fellow students with the stun gun during lunchtime, zapping three of his classmates.
The boy was suspended from school, but has since returned.
A Warwickshire Police spokeswoman said: "Officers arrested a 13-year-old boy on suspicion of being in possession of a prohibited weapon after reports that a stun gun had been used on three fellow pupils at Trinity Catholic School.
"The stun gun was seized and locked away by staffuntil officers arrived at the school.
"The boywas questioned by police and bailed without charge, and we are liaising with the youth offending team."
