Study lets lazy parents off hook.

YET another report from academics has made it on to the news channels.

This time they claim that spending hours watching television or playing computer games each day does not harm young children's social development.

Apparently the Medical Research Council (MRC) team who studied more than 11,000 primary school pupils says it is wrong to link bad behaviour to televison viewing.

This article is irresponsible and gives teenagers an excuse to play video games to their hearts' content.

Bad parents will also let the game console do their parenting for them.

Imagine the effect it will have on the social capabilities of the UK's teenagers, which is already shameful.
