Studley relocates bank.

Studley relocates bank

Jugobanka, Yugoslavia's largest bank, has signed a lease to occupy 21,000 square feet of office space encompassing part of the third floor at 437 Madison Avenue in New York City.

The lease covers a 15-year term and is valued at $12 million.

Mitchell S. Steir, senior managing director and co-branch manager of the midtown New York office of Julien J. Studley, Inc., and Marc S. Miller, managing director and Matthew P. Barlow of that office, represented the bank exclusively in the lease negotiations.

According to Steir, "The bank was looking for new, more efficient space in a centrally located avenue building. 437 Madison Avenue was a natural fit."

The Kaufman Organization is the owner of the Madison Avenue building and was represented by Vincent J. Peters, president of V.J. Peters Associates L.P., in the transaction.

Jugobanka is relocating from 500 Fifth Avenue in December of this year.
