Studley's star team.

A group of Studley professionals became Tom Sawyers by painting the picket fence that surrounds a Newark playground.

The group--which has been doing charitable work at The Leaguers Head Start Program in Newark for more than five years--also raised $1,700 from Studley employees and other private sources to buy mulch to cover the surface of the backyard.

On a separate day, Studley arranged for Giants left tackle William Beatty to visit the children.

A Federally funded program, The Leaguers Head Start Program is attended by children ages 3-5 from families of low-income.

The Studley team includes Zander Oldendorp, Barbara Kennish, Matthew Post, Gregg Najarian, Donna McQuade and Craig Engelhardt.
