Students enjoy 'fling' in the park.
THOUSANDS of Warwick University students last night partied to celebrate the end of their studies in The Final Fling 2004.Organised by Warwick Students' Union's Ents team the glamorous party gave those saying goodbye to their time in Coventry a night to remember.
The massive event at Coombe Country Park involved a sit-down meal for hundreds of graduates, followed by fairground fun and then an evening of music entertainment.
In huge marquees a stellar line up wowed the leaving students as they said their farewells to a soundtrack from Ash, The Scissor Sisters and Spooks.
Rising songstress Amy Winehouse also made an exclusive appearance and DJs from the Union's most popular nights also went along to the Coombe party.
Break dancers, stilt walkers and dozens of balloons completed the festive atmosphere.
