Students could be eligible for a helping hand.

Paisley students are being reminded that the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) offers a range of support to help - but it won't be received automatically, an application is necessary.

The support people are entitled to will depend on eligibility, circumstances, and where students are going to study, but could include: ?Tuition fees paid, or a loan to cover the cost of tuition.

?A bursary of up to PS2,000 (or PS8,100 for care-experienced students) ? A loan of up to PS6,750 to help with accommodation and living costs ? Support for additional learning costs if you have a disability ? Additional support for students in special circumstances such as those who are care experienced, lone parents, or are providing care Postgraduate students can apply to SAAS for funding if they are studying a course that SAAS funds and meet the residency criteria.
