Stud and Stable Staff Awards finalists.

David Nicholson Newcomer Award Christopher Lynn Made a huge impression in his short time as a stable lad at Ferdy Murphy's and has impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. Robyn Gray Worked part-time for Dianne Sayer while completing her A-levels, she decided to forgo university for racing and is now head groom. Katy Tyler A groom and work-rider for Mark Johnston, she is one of the youngest members of staff he has sent overseas.

Stud Staff Award Graham Nicklin A stud groom at Glebe Stud for 12 years who has devoted much of his working life to a career he loves so much he's asked to continue, despite reaching retirement. Frances Eilbeck Works as a stud groom for Minster Stud and ran the operation full-time when boss Willie Carson was in the jungle.

Gordon Laing An assistant stud groom, Gordon joined Fittocks Stud in 2000 having previously worked as a farmer.

Rider/Groom Award Charlotte Cox A groom for Henry Candy, she works best with horses with problems, either mental or physical, despite suffering from scoliosis herself. Peter Johnson Head groom to Robert Johnson, he has over 30 years of experience in racing and remains actively involved in the yard despite suffering from osteoarthritis in both hips. Zafar Abbas A groom, he started in racing in 2001 and is now Mahmood Al Zarooni's first-choice groom to look after the top horses.

High Achiever Award Clifford Baker The only current head groom to have held the role with two champion trainers, having worked for David Nicholson and now with Paul Nicholls.

Andrew Bottomley A yard manager for Mark Johnston, who he has worked for him since 2002. Last season ran two yards. William Reddy Eve Johnson Houghton's head groom, he started working for her father in 1969 and has been at the yard ever since.

Dedication To Racing Award Willie Cowe Continued to work as head groom for James Ewart despite constant chemotherapy and radiotherapy as he battles cancer.

Burney Hutchinson Head grrom to David Lanigan, he has worked in the industry for over 40 years.

Lenny Brinkley Working for Roger Varian, and with the yard for over 30 years Lenny has been in his current role as feed man for nearly two decades.
