Stuart N. Siegel.

Michael L. Ainslie, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby's Holdings and chairman and chief executive of Sotheby's International Realty announced the appointment, effective immediately, of Stuart N. Siegel as president and managing director of Sotheby's International Realty. In addition to management responsibility for North America, Siegel will now oversee all European and Asian operations for the realty company as well.

Siegel joined Sotheby's International Realty in 1981. He was promoted to vice president, Tri-state Regional Manager in 1983, vice president of Marketing in 1986, and senior vice president of Regional and Corporate Operations in 1988, before assuming the position of executive vice president in 1989. Siegel attended the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Virginia after receiving his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College. He current resides in New York City and Kent, Connecticut with his wife, Adaline Havemeyer, and their two children.
