Stroke dad tot to walk.

A MAN crippled by a stroke days after becoming a father is being taught to walk and talk by his baby daughter.

Sales assistant Mark Ellis, 23, is copying one-year-old Lola-Rose as she takes her first steps and forms words.

His wife Amy, 31, of Chesterfield, Derbyshire, said: "His therapist told him to make similar noises to Lola-Rose. So far she can say 'yes', 'no', 'mum' and 'dad'.

"Mark can walk 20 steps using his Zimmer frame and she walks unsteadily alongside him. It's wonderful.

"Every day Mark makes progress and a lot of it is down to Lola-Rose They've such a bond."
