Strike for what?

WHAT on earth do all these poor, hard done-by soccer prima donnas think they have to strike about?

It's outrageous.

Now it's time for all the soccer fans to go on strike in protest at the players' revolt.

There are plenty of genuine reasons for supporters to down tools: over-priced tickets, ripoff merchandise, shoddy team performances and invariably inadequate facilities to name but a few.

And if anyone deserves a bigger share of the TV income it's the loyal supporters of clubs up and down the country, not the well-heeled players who earn plenty even in the lower divisions.

Soccer has some of the most overpaid, overrated, overblown personalities in the history of fat-cattism.

Strike at your peril, you silly lot!
