Strictly stars in Children Appeal dance special.

STRICTLY stars are to mix things up as they will dance with Team GB Olympic medallists for a BBC Children In Need Strictly Come Dancing 2016 special.

Helen Glover MBE, Hollie Webb, Joe Clarke and Lutalo Muhammad will swap sports gear for glamorous ensembles as they show off their best moves with Strictly professionals Janette Manrara, Karen Clifton, Pasha Kovalev and Neil Jones.

Gold medal-winning rower Glover will be partnered with Kovalev, whose run on the current series of Strictly ended when partner Naga Munchetty was eliminated.

She admitted taking part in the charity special will push her "out of my comfort zone" but that she is happy to tackle this "amazing opportunity" after the Rio Olympics. British hockey player Webb scored the gold medal-winning penalty at the Olympic final in Rio.

She will be dancing with Strictly newcomer Jones, who regularly appears on spin-off programme It Takes Two.

A huge Strictly fan herself, Webb said she is "absolutely overjoyed" to be taking part for the good cause but that she is worried about what she has signed up for.

The Children In Need Appeal will air on BBC1 on November 18.
