Street tire in second half.
Despite the difference in league positions, the teams were evenly matched in the first half. Hull were awarded an early penalty try when centre McGrory was judged to have deliberately knocked the ball out of play to prevent a try. After a penalty apiece, winger Greg Summers ended a well-matched half with an interception try.
After the break, Hull edged ahead with two more penalties from fly-half James Cameron. However, the day was lost for Broadstreet when Hull converted two opportunities into tries in quick succession. Flanker Darren Wigg's was a stunner - isolated on the wing, he chipped through, racing past two wingers to touch down in the corner.
Street tried to rally and wingers Nick Thatcher and Summers retaliated with two great individual efforts.
However Hull closed out the game well and scored twice in the last five minutes to claim a bonus point. HULL: tries: penalty try, Cameron (3), Gandy (2), Wigg, Robinson; conversions: Cameron (2).
BROADSTREET: tries: Summers (2), Thatcher, Richards; conversions: Richards (2).
