Strategas Research Partners Acquires Macroeconomic Research Provider Encima Global.
09 January 2017 - US-based brokerage firm Strategas Research Partners, LLC has acquired US-based macroeconomic research provider Encima Global, the company said.
The New York firm is run by former Bear Stearns chief economist and appointee to the Reagan and Bush Administrations David Malpass.
Founded in 2008, Encima Global provides independent economic and market research to institutional investors.
Encima Global produces market research and analysis on complex global economic and policy issues. Its research team publishes on a range of topics including equity and bond markets, currencies, commodities, global forecasts, government policies and asset allocation.
The firm brings Strategas Research new econometric models and new corporate and institutional investment relationships.
At the same time, Encima's clients will gain access to Strategas' unbiased global macroeconomic research in seven research verticals investment strategy, economics, policy research, technical analysis, fixed income strategy, industry surveys, and international economics.
With this acquisition, Strategas continues to expand its services and to build its value proposition.
