THE KINKY THINGS THAT HETEROSEXUALS DO

EYES WIDE SHUT JULY 16

TWIN FALLS IDAHO JULY 30

CALIGULA LATE SUMMER

Trick and Better Than Chocolate may have a lock on gay and lesbian love, but they're pure vanilla compared with what hetero screen characters are up to. Though its promised perversions have been kept strictly under wraps, the late Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut has already begun the big tease with that brief preview glimpse of a naked Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman steaming it up as a pair of married therapists caught up in a tale of sexual obsession.

In Twin Falls Idaho--another Sundance buzz beneficiary--real-life twin brothers Mark and Michael Polish play Siamese siblings competing for the attentions of the same hooker girlfriend, Michele Hicks--a premise that could give new meaning to the phrase "a little something on the side." And fans of vintage sleaze, take heart: Penthouse's Bob Guccione is rereleasing 1980's unapologetically trashy, pansexually explicit, X-rated Caligula, a movie whose stars Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren, and Peter O'Toole would probably prefer that you forgot.
