Stotty on Sunday: Headstart for Glitter.

Byline: Richard Stott

IN old passports there was a section called "special peculiarities" recording physical oddities. It is no longer included, which allows Gary Glitter to wear his bouffant wig without declaring that actually he is as bald as a coot.

In Cambodia, where he was unknown, he dispensed with the rug and looked nothing like his passport picture, which could prove extremely useful if he has to leave a country in a hurry. Highly likely given his penchant for sex with children.

Strange though that nobody here has bothered to check that a notorious paedophile is travelling the world on a passport the Foreign Office knows is downright misleading.
