Stores find Atlas Park appealing.
With its Spring 2006 Grand Opening just around the corner and construction already well underway, The Shops at Atlas Park in Glendale, Queens has recently signed four new tenants.National retailers Chico's, White House Black Market and Gymboree, along with regional restaurant concept Shiro's of Japan, have all signed leases for space at The Shops at Atlas Park, New York City's first ever lifestyle retail center. Chico's, known for its exclusively designed, private-label women's apparel and accessories, will occupy 3,919 s/f; White House Black Market will take 2,375 s/f shop; children's clothing brand Gymboree will also a 2,284 s/f store and; Long Island-based Shiro's of Japan has also inked a lease for its first restaurant in New York City.
The unique eatery will measure 8,400 s/f and boast a large sushi bar, 20 teppanyaki hibachi tables and a traditional Japanese dining area.
