Store makes a difference to school.

A WALSGRAVE convenience store is proudly supporting their local school this month with a donation of PS1,700.

Heer Food Stores on Clay Lane made the donation to Stoke Primary School to enable them to purchase computer tablets to help pupils at the school whose second language is English, to help develop their language skills.

Making a Difference Locally raises funds in Nisa stores through the sale of items from Nisa's own-label Heritage range and a number of branded products that carry charitable donations. A percentage of this money then goes into a virtual fund for the store to donate to a local charity or good cause within a 10 mile radius.

Store owner, Dilbagh Heer commented: "We are delighted to be able to give something back to the local community through Making a Difference Locally, and the donation will go towards a very worthy cause." To support the work of Making a Difference Locally and help good causes in your area, look out for Heritage products and Making a Difference Locally promotions in store.
